Because the base station is downtown, this is the easiest major sight in Zhangjiajie to reach.
Climbs from the city centre to the summit in under half an hour.
Uses the switchback road towards the arch; escalators continue upward.
Only a few minutes from most central hotels to the base station.
Keep it on a separate day from Wulingyuan๏ผTianmen and Wulingyuan are different parks roughly 40 minutes apart. Each deserves its own day; combining them into one is the most common planning mistake here.
