The museum sits at the edge of the Taidong district, north of the old town. Metro is easy; driving is not — the surrounding streets are narrow and parking is scarce.
Exit C, then roughly an 8-minute walk.

- Go in the morning. Afternoons in summer and on holidays mean queues at the entrance and at the tasting bar.
- Drink the unfiltered draught first — it is the one beer you genuinely cannot get outside Qingdao.

- The local ritual is buying draught by the bag from a neighbourhood shop for a few yuan a litre — try that too, not only the museum pour.
